Health Department Sponsors Clinics

The Oswego County Health Department offers a wide range of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, a certified home health care, long-term home health care, a certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.

From Monday, Jan. 26, through Friday, Jan. 30, clinic services will be provided at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic, 70 Bunner St., Oswego; and the H. Douglas Barclay Courthouse, Jefferson Street, Pulaski.

The clinic schedule is as follows:

OSWEGO:

  • Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic: Monday, Jan. 26, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • HIV Testing: Monday, Jan. 26, 10 to 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1 to 4 p.m., appointment necessary.
  • Immunization Clinic: Friday, Jan. 30, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Pregnancy Testing: Free pregnancy testing is available through the Pre-Natal Care Assistance Program. Call 349-3391 for appointment.

PULASKI:

  • Immunization Clinic: Friday, Jan. 30, 9 to 11 a.m.

The Andrew Michaud Nursing Home now accepts containers of used medical syringes for disposal. Used syringes must be placed in an approved "Sharps" container. Containers may be dropped off at the nursing home Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please use the service entrance on Park Street.
