Parents Encouraged To Take Time Out
OSWEGO - The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau is offering a free parenting class on how to use "time-out" as an effective discipline technique. The program teaches 20 methods, skills and principals for managing the behavior of children ages two to 12, and is based on "SOS Help for Parents" by Lynn Clark, Ph. D.
The class will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11: 30 a.m. June 14 and June 21 at the Youth Bureau office, 70 Bunner St., Oswego.
