Public Officials Are Invited to Learn about Latest Planning and Land Use Laws
MEXICO -- The Oswego County Department of Planning and Community Development and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County are sponsoring a training conference about changes in land use, planning and environmental laws and how they affect local communities.
The audio conference is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, at the Cooperative Extension office, 3288 Main St., Mexico. Attorneys from the American Planning Association are providing the training.
The program is designed for town and city attorneys, planning commissioners, professional planners, and others who need to keep informed about legal developments that affect local planning policies. Registration is $10 per person. People in the audience will be able to submit questions to the speaker by e-mail or fax.
