Richland Pulaski Residents to Receive Mail Survey Part of Comprehensive Planning Process
Residents of the town of Richland will have the opportunity to provide their ideas for the future of the town when they complete the community survey that will be mailed to them the week of August 16.
The Town of Richland and Village of Pulaski are working together on a joint strategic comprehensive plan with the coordination of the Oswego County Dept. of Planning and Community Development.
"One component of the plan is a community survey, asking residents about their opinions on services, resources, and economic development. By taking the time to complete this survey, they can assist the planning group in setting goals for the future," said Brian Frazier, director of Planning and Community Development.
One resident of each household is asked to complete the survey. If other residents would like to complete the survey, additional copies of the survey are available at the village and town offices, local banks and the Pulaski post office.
Residents are asked to return the survey by September 10.
The survey and the development of a comprehensive plan for the town and village are funded through a grant from the Governor's Office for Small Cities. For information, contact the Richland town office at 298-5174, or the Pulaski village office at 298-2622.
