Youth Bureau Announces that Grant Funds Are Available for Youth Services
The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau will accept grant applications until Oct. 8 for programs funded by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
Grants are allocated annually by the Youth Bureau to not-for-profit organizations providing services to children and youth in Oswego County. These funds are used to support several programs that address important needs of youth in Oswego County.
All organizations applying for funding must attend a bidder's conference before submitting an application. Application guidelines will be reviewed at the bidder's conferences. Two bidders' conferences will be held, and organizations may attend either one. The first bidder's conference will be Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the training room at the Nick Sterio Public Health Center, 70 Bunner St., Oswego. The second bidder's conference will be held in the Youth Bureau conference room at the County Office Complex, 70 Bunner St., Oswego at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16.
Programs supported by funding from the NYS Office of Children and Family Services cannot charge a fee for participation.
