Camp Hollis Receives Donation from Lake City Lodge
OSWEGO -- Members of the Lake City Lodge No. 127 recently donated $400 to Camp Hollis. The local service organization holds fundraisers throughout the year to help support a variety of youth organizations in the Oswego area. Their donation to Camp Hollis will be used to provide scholarships for needy families to send their children for a week of camp, and for improvements at the camp.
Camp Hollis is owned and operated by the County of Oswego. Over 40,000 youth have participated in its residential summer camp program since it was founded in 1946. The Friends of Camp Hollis, a not-for-profit support system for the camp, accepts cash and in-kind donations to help support the general camp budget, building improvements and financial support for families.
