Oswego County Will Auction Surplus Equipment Nov. 20
SCRIBA -- Dump trucks, sanders, trailers and excavators, along with motor vehicles, miscellaneous office equipment and furniture will be sold at public auction by Oswego County beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20. The auction will take place at the Oswego County Highway Garage on state Route 104, two miles east of Oswego.
At least five pick-up trucks will be offered for sale, as well as a 1993 Ford Explorer, Ford Econoline vans, Dodge Neon cars, and several other vehicles. Miscellaneous equipment includes four Bombardier trail groomers, a forklift, brush chipper, lawn tractors, and a 1990 Champion grader in excellent condition.
Several area towns, including Mexico, New Haven, Homer and Pompey, will also sell surplus equipment and vehicles at the auction, which will be conducted by Roy Teitsworth, Inc., of Geneseo. The equipment will be on display for inspection from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 19 at the highway garage.
