P & C Donates to Child Advocacy Center
FULTON -- The Oswego County Child Advocacy Center is the beneficiary of the fourth annual Caring for Children Campaign sponsored by P & C Food and Pharmacy.
The Penn Traffic Company, P & C's parent company, presented $5,800 to the center, which is located at 370 S. Fourth St., Fulton. The money will be used to serve child victims of abuse in Oswego County.
Jeff Bartlett, store manager of the Oswego P & C, and Kim Taylor, deli manager, represented P & C in the project. Olivia Van Sanford, director of the Child Advocacy Center Foundation, Inc.; Ellen Holst, president of the Child Advocacy Center board of directors; and Kathleen Buchiere, Director of Social Services, Oswego County Department of Social Services, accepted the donation on behalf of the center.
The Oswego County Child Abuse Task Force uses the center to conduct interviews and provide services to child victims of abuse. For information, call 592-4453.
