Sandy Creek Committee Wants to Hear from Citizens at Dec. 1 Session
SANDY CREEK - The Town of Sandy Creek Strategic Planning Committee will review results of the planning survey and seek input on priority issues at a public meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Sandy Creek Town Hall.
Citizens are encouraged to voice their opinion about community issues such as village consolidation, fire districts, telephone service, traffic concerns, and restoring or demolishing buildings. A facilitator will lead the meeting. Coffee and cookies will be provided.
The committee is working with staff of the county Department of Planning and Community Development to develop a long-range strategic plan for the town of Sandy Creek and the villages of Lacona and Sandy Creek. For more information, call Margaret Kastler, town supervisor, at 387-5456, ext. 5.
