Free Parenting Class on Using "Time-Out" Effectively
OSWEGO - Parents and caregivers can learn how to get more from giving kids time-out with 20 methods, skills, and principles for managing children's behavior. The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau will sponsor the free video-discussion workshop from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 24 and Jan. 31 at the youth bureau office, 70 Bunner St., Oswego.
The program is based on the book "S.O.S. Help for Parents," written by Lynn Clark, Ph.D., and focuses on children ages 2 through 12. The class is limited to 20 people.
