Community Involvement Needed in Pulaski and Richland On Strategic Planning Process
PULASKI - The joint Village of Pulaski/Town of Richland Strategic Planning Committee has scheduled a series of meetings in February including a public presentation of the results of the community survey.
Interested village and town residents are encouraged to attend committee meetings scheduled for Thursday, February 17 and Wednesday, March 1, all at 7 p.m. The meetings will be in the John Ben Snow Community Building, 4917 N. Jefferson Street in Pulaski.
The results of the community survey mailed to town and village residents in the fall will be unveiled at a meeting on Thursday February 24 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Lura Sharp Elementary School on Hinman Road in the village. Entrance to the cafeteria and parking is at the rear of the school.
The committee is working with Brian Frazier, director of the County Department of Planning and Community Development to develop a long-range strategic plan for the town of Richland and the village of Pulaski. All interested residents are welcome to participate.
The survey and the development of a strategic plan for the town and village are funded through a Technical Assistance grant from the Governor's Office for Small Cities. For information, contact the Richland town office at 298-5174, or the Pulaski village office at 298-2622.
