Sandy Creek Planning Committee Seeks Input on Issues Affecting Sandy Pond Area
SANDY CREEK – The Town of Sandy Creek Strategic Planning Committee will meet at 7 p.m. March 23 at the Sandy Creek Town Hall.
The committee is seeking input from landowners about issues that affect people in the Sandy Pond area including businesses, housing, drinking water, septic systems, and the environment. A survey has been mailed to people that own property west of state Route 3. Landowners are asked to mail the survey to the Sandy Creek town office by March 16.
The committee is working with staff of the County Department of Planning and Community Development to develop a long-range strategic plan for the town of Sandy Creek and the villages of Lacona and Sandy Creek.
