Volunteers Needed April 23 for Spring Cleaning at Camp Hollis

The snow has melted, the birds are chirping and spring has finally arrived in Oswego County. The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau needs volunteers to help clean up Camp Hollis from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 23 to get ready for the summer season.

Camp Hollis is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau. Volunteers may work for a few hours or a full day and should dress for outside work.

Jobs include cleaning cabins, raking, opening the playground, beach cleanup and stacking firewood. The camp is located on County Route 89, off Route 104 West in the town of Oswego, about two miles past Oswego State University.
