Families Invited to Winter Wonderland Feb. 23 at Camp Hollis

OSWEGO -- All Oswego County youth and their families are invited to play out in the snow Feb. 23 at the Hollis Winter Wonderland at Camp Hollis. Organized and hosted by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and Reality Check, the free event will feature loads of games and outdoor activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., including snow bowling, sledding, snowshoeing, the "Amazing Race," a bonfire and much more.

There will be a warming station with arts and crafts indoors. Free refreshments will be provided. Snowshoes are available at Camp Hollis. Visitors should bring their own sleds for sledding. Hollis Winter Wonderland is an outside event, so please dress accordingly.

Camp Hollis is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau as a residential camp during the summer months for children who live in Oswego County. Located at 40 Health Camp Road, off Lakeshore Road in the town of Oswego, the facility is available April through October for use by families, clubs, school groups and other organizations.

Free parking will be available.
