Ralph D'Amico Is Honored for His Service to County Board of Health
Members of the Oswego County Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee give a round of applause to Ralph D’Amico of Oswego who recently stepped down from the Oswego County Board of Health. A member since its inception, D’Amico was the longest-serving member of the board. He was appointed when the Oswego County Board of Supervisors formed the full service County Health Department in 1971, and he rarely missed a meeting. From left are Legislator Arthur Gearsbeck, District 6, West Monroe; Oswego County Health Commissioner Kathleen Smith; Legislators Paul Santore, District 16, Oswego; committee vice chair Barbara Brown, District 8, Palermo; Board of Health Chairman Frank Church; D’Amico; and Legislators Leonard Ponzi, District 17, Oswego; and Kim Seager, District 10, Phoenix.
