Reality Check Hosts Battle of the Bands April 21

FULTON – Area high school students can show their support for Camp Hollis and listen to music by local bands at the “Battle of the Bands” from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 21, at the Fulton War Memorial.

“We are still looking for bands that would like to be a part of the Battle of the Bands,” said Katie Ives, Reality Check coordinator with the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau. “All bands that play any type of music -- from punk to hip-hop, rock to pop, and metal to country -- are encouraged to apply.”

Bands made up of Oswego County high school students are eligible.

The Battle of the Bands is sponsored by Oswego County Reality Check as a fundraiser for Friends of Camp Hollis. Proceeds will help provide a summer residential camp experience to children in Oswego County.
