EMSAC Sponsors CPR Class
The Oswego County Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council (EMSAC) will share its expertise by offering a free CPR class from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 13, at the Volney Fire Department, state Route 3.
EMSAC is holding the class to kick off National EMS Week, which is May 14 to 20. Oswego County’s Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council includes representatives of the hospitals and ambulance companies in Oswego County
Those who wish to receive basic lifesaving certification through the American Heart Association may do so by completing training from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is a $15 charge for basic lifesaving certification.
The deadline to register is April 28. Seating is limited. To register, contact Randi Driesen at the Oswego County Health Department, weekdays, at 349-3547 or 1-800-596-3200, ext. 3547.
