Office for the Aging Holds Public Hearings on Services for Elderly
The Oswego County Office for the Aging will review its four-year plan of services to the elderly at public hearings Tuesday, Aug. 8, Thursday, Aug. 10, and Friday, Aug. 11. Hearings will be held at 9:30 a.m. at these locations:
Larry Schmidt, director of the county Office for the Aging, said the hearings are an opportunity for the community to give input on services that impact the elderly.
“As in previous years, we continue to encourage participation by the elderly and the community by holding public hearings at locations that are convenient to the senior population,” he said. “Please attend if you have input on what you would like the Office for the Aging to do for you.”
