Families Can Stay at Camp Hollis Aug. 24 - 27
OSWEGO - Camp Hollis will host its fifth annual "Family Camp" from Aug. 24 through Aug. 27. The event provides families a traditional camping experience without the worry of planning meals, lodging and activities. Campers may arrive between Thursday afternoon, Aug. 24, and Friday, Aug. 25. Visitors will stay in cabins, enjoy traditional camp activities, sing songs around the campfire, and eat nutritious meals.
The program is free to Oswego County residents and is made possible by donations from Fulton Savings Bank, Wal-Mart, Oswego County National Bank, and Pathfinder Bank. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Camp Hollis, owned and operated by the County of Oswego, is located in the Town of Oswego on the shore of Lake Ontario. The facility has offered summer camp programs for Oswego County youth since 1946.
For more information or to register, contact camp director Matt Wood at 349-3241.
