Deadlines Approach for Absentee Ballots
OSWEGO -- The Oswego County Board of Elections reminds all county voters that they may vote by absentee ballot if they will be out of the county on Election Day, Nov. 7, or will be unable to go to the polls because of illness or physical disability.
Voters may apply for an absentee ballot by mail no later than Tuesday, Oct. 31, or in person no later than Monday, Nov. 6. Completed absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 6 and received by the Board of Elections no later than Nov. 14. Absentee ballots may also be hand-delivered to the county Board of Elections before the polls close at 9 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 7.
