Drug Task Force Makes Arrest in Crack Cocaine Investigation
On January 5, 2007 the Oswego County Drug Task Force arrested Christopher D. Gonzalez, DOB 12/27/1970, of 373 Midland Ave., Syracuse, NY in the City of Fulton on charges of Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd class B- Felony, and Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 4th class C- Felony.
Upon execution of a search warrant, Gonzalez was found to be in possession of 21 individually-wrapped pieces of crack cocaine which had a total weight of 11.7 grams (approximate street value of $1050) and $200 in US currency.
The arrest is the result of a month-long investigation that began in the Town of Hannibal area where it was learned that Gonzalez was transporting narcotics from Syracuse to Hannibal for further distribution and sale.
Gonzalez's arrest is a continued effort on part of the Oswego County District Attorney, Oswego County Sheriff's Office and Oswego County Drug Task Force to arrest and prosecute to the fullest extent possible, person(s) that come to our community from outside areas to sell narcotics.
Assisting the Oswego County Drug Task Force were the City of Fulton Police and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET).
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the Oswego County Sheriff's Office and SUNY Oswego Campus Police.
