Oswego County Offers Consumer Seminars on Long-Term Care Insurance
OSWEGO -- The Oswego County Office for the Aging is sponsoring free workshops throughout the year to inform county residents about long-term care insurance. The next session will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 20, in the public health training room of the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic, 70 Bunner St., Oswego.
The seminars are sponsored by the Office for the Aging's long-term care insurance education and outreach program, and are intended to provide people with unbiased information regarding options for their future long-term health care needs. Sara Sunday, aging services specialist at the Office for the Aging, said that New York State does not endorse or recommend any specific insurance product or insurer.
