Families Invited to Camp Hollis “Spring Thaw” April 12
All Oswego County youth and their families are invited to the Hollis “Spring Thaw” at Camp Hollis on Thursday, April 12. Organized and hosted by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, the free event will feature loads of games and outdoor activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including basketball, shuffleboard, hockey, hiking, a campfire and much more.
There will be a warming station with arts and crafts indoors. Free lunch and drinks will be provided. The Hollis “Spring Thaw” is an outside event, so please dress accordingly. While this is a free event, donations will be accepted to help support future Family Fun Day events at Camp Hollis.
Camp Hollis is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau as a residential camp during the summer months for children who live in Oswego County. Located at 40 Health Camp Road, off Lakeshore Road in the town of Oswego, the facility is available April through October for use by families, clubs, school groups and other organizations.
