May is Foster Parents Month

Legislature Chairman Johnson proclaims May as Foster Parents Month

More than 70 families throughout Oswego County provide homes for children through the Department of Social Services' foster care program. Legislature Chairman Russ Johnson proclaimed May as Foster Parents Month to recognize the vital services that foster parents provide. He received plenty of help from, left to right, Sandra Moses, Anthony Moses, Charles Moses, Christine Moses, president of the Foster and Adoptive Parent Association of Oswego County; Char Smith, secretary of the association; and Lawrence Moses.
