Granby Woman Charged after Marijuana Plants are Found at Her Apartment
The Oswego County Drug Task Force received an anonymous tip Monday that led to the search of an apartment in Granby and the arrest of its occupant.
Joy D. Tracey, age 41, of 358 Merritt Road, rear apartment, was arrested after members of the drug task force, assisted by the Oswego County Sheriff's Office, found 12 marijuana plants near the apartment doorway.
Tracey was issued an appearance ticket for unlawfully growing cannabis and is scheduled to appear in Granby Town Court at 7 p.m. July 2.
Another person at the residence, Jeffrey Aldrich, was found to have an outstanding bench warrant in the City of Oswego. Aldrich was arrested by the Oswego County Sheriff's Office and turned over to Oswego City Police.
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the County Sheriff's Office and the SUNY Oswego Campus Police, with assistance from the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
