![]() July 23, 2007 Oswego Railroad Museum Opens Its Doors After 25 Years
Spectators surround Oswego Mayor Randy Bateman, pictured above, as he drives a ceremonial railroad stake into a display in front of the Oswego Railroad Museum. Holding the stake is Oswego Valley Railroad Association Vice President Bill Dexter. Others who attended the ceremony were County Legislator Paul Natoli, District 11; his father, Robert Natoli; and Common Council President Connie Cosemento. The opening of the museum is a dream the Oswego Valley Railroad Association has had since 1982. The museum, located on West First Street, will be open weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day - Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 12noon to 5 p.m. It will re-open for special hours during the Christmas season.
