Lessons on Assertive Discipline for Parents
The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau will host a free parenting class based on a nationally-recognized technique that parents can use to manage the misbehavior of children. The class is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Youth Bureau office, 70 Bunner St., Oswego.
The two-hour program is based on the book “Assertive Discipline for Parents” by child management expert Lee Canter. Dan Reynolds, youth activities coordinator for the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, will conduct the class.
