Oswego County Transfer Stations will be Open Mondays Starting in January
Oswego County announces these important changes to operating hours and solid waste disposal fees in January:
Beginning Monday, Jan. 7, transfer stations will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Sticker and punch card sales and weigh scales will close ½-hour before the transfer stations close.
Beginning Jan. 1, the cost of the residential household tipping fee sticker will be $125 annually. Residential punch cards will be $30 each. The cost of disposing of fish waste will be $80 per ton if delivered to the Pulaski Transfer Station, and $52 per ton at the Bristol Hill Landfill. The weighed tipping fee will be $80 per ton at the transfer stations and $52 per ton if delivered to Energy Recovery Facility or Bristol Hill Landfill.
