 January 18, 2008 County Legislature Recognizes Public Health Director Kathleen Smith
Legislature Vice Chairman John Proud, left, chairman of the Oswego County Legislature's Health and Human Services Committee, presents Public Health Director Kathleen Smith a certificate of appreciation for her 30 years of service to the Oswego County Health Department. A resident of Scriba, Smith has announced that she will retire at the end of January. She began working as a public health nurse in 1977 and has played a key role in the development of Oswego County's public health programs. With her is Legislator James Oldenburg, District 14, Scriba.
