Families Invited to Spring Fun Day April 17 at Camp Hollis
OSWEGO -The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and Reality Check will host the Camp Hollis Spring Fun Day, an annual event for Oswego County youth and families, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 17. The event is free and open to the public. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Activities will include bocce ball, basketball knockout, arts and crafts, tennis, nature trail walks, and kickball. This program is primarily an outdoor event, and visitors should dress accordingly. Donations will be accepted to help sponsor future Camp Hollis family activities. Visitors are asked to bring one canned food item to be donated to a local food pantry.
Camp Hollis is owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau as a residential camp during the summer months for children who live in Oswego County. Located at 40 Health Camp Road, off Lakeshore Road in the town of Oswego, the facility is available April through October for use by families, clubs, school groups and other organizations.
