DRINKING WATER AVAILBLE FOR SANDY CREEK RESIDENTS
Sandy Creek - Potable drinking water is available for Town of Sandy Creek residents - including residents of the Villages of Sandy Creek and Lacona - at the Lacona Firemenís Field Day grounds under the pavilion. Town Supervisor Lonnie Crast announced that this is for drinking water only and containers over five gallons should not be filled there.
Town Supervisor Crast also reported that the State of Emergency declared for the town last night due to damage from severe thunderstorms remains in effect. While this places no restrictions for residents including on travel, the town supervisor urges people to use caution.
