Refresher Offered for EMS Pilot Program
Fulton -- The Oswego County Emergency Management Office/Emergency Medical Services will offer an EMT -B Pilot Refresher Core Content Course beginning July 12 at the Joint Information Center at the County Airport near Fulton.
This class is designed to satisfy the 24 hours of “core” material required for the Basic Emergency Medical Technician CME-based recertification program, for agencies registered with the state Health Department Emergency Medical Services Bureau's Pilot Program. There is a fee for this course, and more information is available from the directors of operation of ambulance corps, the chiefs of local fire departments, or the Emergency Management Office.
Sessions will be held on the following Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: July 12, Aug. 2, Aug. 9, and Aug. 16.
