Children and Families Welcome at Hollis Winter Festival
OSWEGO -- All Oswego County youth and families are invited grab their snow gear and visit the Hollis Winter Festival Wednesday, Feb. 18. Hosted by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and Reality Check, the free event will take place at Camp Hollis from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activities will include sledding, snowshoeing, sports in the snow, arts and crafts, an obstacle course, and other special outdoor events. Children will be able to build bird and wildlife feeders to provide food for Camp Hollis' animal friends. Lunch will be served to all participants. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Hollis Winter Festival is primarily an outside event, and participants should dress accordingly.
Camp Hollis is located in southwest Oswego, on County Route 89 off Route 104 West. Free parking is available.
Pre-registration is not required. A donation of a non-perishable food item is requested, to be shared with the Salvation Army of Oswego.
