Oswego County Sheriff Announces Summer Camp
Children between the ages of nine and twelve from throughout Oswego County are shown just before boarding a bus on Sunday, 7/12/09, to begin an adventure at the 33rd Annual New York State Sheriffs’ Association Institute’s Summer Camp located at Penn Yan, New York. Oswego County Sheriff Reuel A. Todd (center/standing) was on hand to see them off. While at Camp Iroquois the youngsters spend a week filled with fun activities, including DARE presentations, boat and bike safety programs, law enforcement equipment and technical demonstrations, and pistol and archery competitions, activities that will afford them a better understanding of the men and women who enforce laws.
