Oswego County Offers Refresher Course for EMT-CC Pilot Program
Fulton -- The Oswego County Emergency Management Office/Emergency Medical Services will offer an Emergency Medical Technician - Critical Care Pilot Refresher Core Content Course beginning Sept. 12 at the Joint Information Center at the County Airport near Fulton.
This class is designed to satisfy the 24 hours of “core” material required for the Emergency Medical Technician - Critical Care-based recertification program for agencies that are registered with the New York State Health Department Emergency Medical Services Bureau's Pilot Program. There is a fee for this course, and more information is available from the directors of operation of local ambulance corps, the chiefs of local fire departments, or the Emergency Management Office.
Sessions will be held on the following days from Sept. 12 through Nov. 16, 2009: Mondays, 6:45 to 8:45 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Certified Instructor Coordinator will be James Jones.
