Oswego County Proclaims March as Developmental Disabilities Month
Oswego County Legislature Vice Chairman John Proud (District 7) presented a proclamation designating March as Developmental Disabilities Month. More than seven million Americans, an estimated one in 43 people, are affected by developmental disabilities. Their contributions and abilities enrich our communities and enhance our diversity. Many dedicated individuals, volunteers and providers work tirelessly on behalf of these citizens to shape our county's system of care into one that is known for its quality and responsiveness.
