Hannibal Students Assist with Mapping Project
Students and staff from the Hannibal Central High School and Middle School recently assisted the county's E-911 and Real Property Tax departments with a large mapping project. The students helped to create a new GIS map for the 911 Center by identifying the latitude and longitude address to each 911 location in the county. They received certificates of commendation from the Oswego County Legislature. Front row, from left, are Jon Mahan, Adell Ronalds, Patrick Sullivan and Natasha Waloven. With them are high school science teacher Carol Burch; middle school technology teacher Greg Bailey; County Legislator Terry Wilbur, District 21, Hannibal; Steve Smith, GIS Specialist, Real Property Tax Service; Debra Mullenax, Director of Real Property Tax Service, and Michael Allen, E-911 program director.
