Oswego County Proclaims National Runaway Prevention Month in November
Oswego County Legislature Chairman Barry D. Leemann presents a proclamation to Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. (OCO) and the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau designating November as National Runaway Prevention Month. Each year there are between 1 and 3 million homeless or runaway youths in the United States. Working together, communities can raise awareness about this issue and limit its occurrence by empowering families and providing necessary supports.
