Camp Hollis Accepting Summer Camp Applications
Located on the Lake Ontario shoreline in the Town of Oswego, Camp Hollis is an inviting retreat for children attending summer camp and families planning reunions and special events. Oswego County Youth Bureau staff will host an open house at the facility Sunday, May 22.
Camp Hollis is now accepting summer camp applications. Open to youth ages 8 through 14, Camp Hollis offers a week-long summer residential camp experience complete with swimming, nature hikes, arts and crafts, games, evening campfires and many more activities.
Youth can register for week-long sessions beginning July 3 and running through Aug. 19. There will be a mini-camp June 30 to July 1 to introduce eight-year-olds to an overnight summer camp experience.
Children and adults are invited to visit camp and meet some of the staff at an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 22. This year, parents can register their children for more than one week at a time, said Brandon Morey, coordinator of recreation and youth development for the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau.
