County Legislators Present Commendations to Three Oswego County Employees
The Oswego County Legislature recently recognized three county employees for their participation and achievement in Oswego's first triathlon, the Tri-Oswego. More than 200 entrants from across Central New York, Watertown, Rochester, Albany, Ohio, Virginia and Florida participated in this arduous contest. All three employees competed in the sprint event which consisted of an 800-meter swim, a 13-mile bike ride, and a 5K run. Jodi Tanner of Orwell is a public health nurse for the Oswego County Health Department. Jackie Koster of Oswego is a senior social welfare examiner with the Oswego County Department of Social Services and Kelly Darling of Scriba is a social welfare examiner for the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Tanner placed first in her age group with a finish time of 1:27:32:47, while Koster and Darling successfully completed the race with times of 2:33:09:95 and 1:58:36:92, respectively.
