Caregiver Educational Sessions Begin Jan. 17
OSWEGO - The Oswego County Office for the Aging is sponsoring a new series of Caregiver Educational Sessions to assist caregivers. Meetings will be held the third Tuesday of every month from 11 a.m. to noon in the Administrative Office, second floor, of the Oswego County Office Complex at 70 Bunner St., Oswego. Each session will consist of a short presentation about services available to the community, with informal discussion and a question and answer session. There is no charge to participate.
The first program will be Tuesday, Jan. 17. Bobbie Gill of the OFA staff will speak about the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). Missy Peel from OFA and a representative from Oswego County Opportunities will speak Feb. 21 about the Home Delivered Meals and Congregate (Nutrition Site) Meals Programs.
