JOHN DEHOLLANDER RECEIVES COMMENDATION

The Oswego County Legislature recognized Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District Manager John DeHollander at their August meeting. DeHollander has devoted his 35-year career to protecting and improving Oswego County's natural resources. He has used his expertise in agricultural drainage, soils, sediment and erosion control; ponds and pond site evaluation; aquatic and land invasive species; and dune preservation to educate and celebrate Oswego County's communities and advocate for local farmers. DeHollander is an inspirational example of environmental conservation and community service. Members of the Oswego County Legislature's Economic Development and Planning Committee presented the certificate.
