ALTMAR - Fred Betts, curator of the Salmon River International Sport Fishing Museum, will give a special presentation on the history of fishing creels at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at the museum. Betts will display his personal collection of creels during the program. Visitors are invited to bring their own creels for show and tell, and to share information about the equipment's age, value and manufacturer.
Located at 3044 state Route 13, Altmar, the museum hosts an open house the third Sunday of every month from 2 to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
