Gallery of Children Up for Adoption Displayed at CCC Fulton Campus

FULTON - A gallery of photos of children who are available for adoption will be displayed at the Fulton campus of Cayuga Community College during March.

Entitled the "Central New York Heart Gallery," the display is presented by the Professional Photographer's Society of Central New York State and sponsored locally by the Oswego County Department of Social Services. The photographs will be on display during college business hours Tuesday, March 4 until Thursday, March 20.

The Oswego County Department of Social Services is seeking people who would like to become foster parents, particularly for children ages 8 and over who may have special needs for supervision. All children available for adoption through DSS have been in foster care for a period of time. The children are typically ages 10 and older and have special needs.

The department sponsors a 10-week preparation program for foster and adoptive parents.
