HISTORY COMES TO LIFE AT FORT ONTARIO

Jonel Langenfeld Rial, professor of theater and education in the SUNY Oswego Theater Department, directs a troupe of community performers in rehearsals of "The Great Rope," the award-winning play by the late Rosemary Nesbitt. The production commemorates the bicentennial of the Great Cable Carry, which followed the Battle of Oswego at Fort Ontarioand the Battle of Big Sandy.
