New Autumn Guide Describes Fall Foliage Tours in Oswego County

OSWEGO COUNTY - Oswego County's diverse forests and rural scenery provide a spectacular mix of beautiful foliage every fall. To help people find their way around some of the most scenic areas, the Oswego County Tourism Office is distributing a free fall foliage brochure.

"The Autumn Guide" includes directions for three fall foliage driving tours and lists the top spots for viewing fall foliage in Oswego County.

"The tours feature Salmon River Falls, Oneida Lake, the Tug Hill, and fields and forests along the way, where you're likely to see beautiful colors and a variety of wildlife," said Kara Alheim, public information officer in the Oswego County Tourism Office. "Taking a fall foliage trip in Oswego County is a perfect way to relax and enjoy the colors of autumn."

The brochure also promotes New York State's Fall Foliage Reports which are updated every week by regional field observers. To see where colors are changing around the state and what do to for a fall visit, go to www.iloveny.com/fall.
