OSWEGO - Are you 65 or older and a New York State resident? Do you want to learn more about reducing the costs of your prescription medications?
Effective April 2014, the income eligibility increased for the Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage program (EPIC), making more New Yorkers eligible to enroll in the program. Single persons aged 65 or older with an annual income up to $75,000, and married couples with an annual income up to $100,000 are now eligible for EPIC.
The Oswego County Office for the Aging will host an informational program at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, in the Nick Sterio Public Health Center, 70 Bunner St., Oswego, to review the guidelines and enroll new customers in the EPIC program. Those interested in applying for EPIC should bringtheir 2013 or 2014 tax returns to the meeting.
