Fulton-- The Oswego County Emergency Management Office/Emergency Medical Services will offer an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic Refresher course beginning June 3 at the County Branch Office Building, 200 N. Second St., Fulton, in the basement.
This class is designed to cover all of the required skills New York State Emergency Medical Services requires for refresher certification of Basic Emergency Medical Technicians. The course will be held June 3 through Aug. 20. Classes will be held Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m. and some Saturdays and Sundays. A complete schedule is available on the County EMS website at www.oswegocounty.com/ems.
The June sessions will incorporate 13 hours of transitional materials to the new national standards.
The Certified Course Instructor will be Robert P. McCaffery, EMT-P.
