OSWEGO COUNTY LEGISLATURE PROCLAIMS JUNE AS DAIRY MONTH - Oswego County Legislators Amy Tresidder and Terry Wilbur recently presented a proclamation to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County designating June as Dairy Month. Among the wide and varied agriculture of New York State, dairy farming ranks first in agricultural income. Oswego County is a significant contributor with over 94,000 acres of agriculture land and a market value of land, buildings, equipment and cattle worth $190.5 million.
