FREEDOM FROM WORKPLACE BULLIESWEEKIS OCT.18 TO 24

FREEDOM FROM WORKPLACE BULLIES WEEKS OCT.18 TO 24-Oswego County Legislature Chairman Kevin Gardner proclaimed Oct. 18 to 24 Freedom from Workplace Bullies Week, and encourages all citizens to promote safe and healthy workplace environments. Studies have documented the stress-related health consequences for individuals caused by exposure to abusive work environments. In addition, these environments can create costly consequences for employers, including reduced productivity, absenteeism, turnover, additional health expenses, and costly litigation. All employees deserve to work in safe and abusive-free environments. For more information, visit www.workplacebullying.org. (Logo image from the Workplace Bullying Institute.)
